  • Wander Fano’s Roman arches and sandy beaches before joining an agriturismo pasta workshop with farm-to-table dinner. 
  • Tour Urbino’s UNESCO-listed Ducal Palace to admire its grand frescoed halls and intimate studiolo, then wander to the Casa Natale di Raffaello to connect with the birthplace of the Renaissance prodigy.    
  • Relax on Senigallia’s sandy beaches after pedaling the Lungomare Alighieri. 
    • Near sunset, head into the hills to Corinaldo for dinner and a stroll through the stunning alleyways of this historic, walled town. 
  • Descend into Frasassi’s cathedral-like caverns, traverse 1.5 km of illuminated galleries lined with towering stalactites, stalagmites and the soaring 200 m-high Ancona Abyss. 
    • On your way back down to the coast, stop by Iesi’s medieval piazza toast to a glass of local Verdicchio wine.   
  • Hike Monte Conero’s shaded trails down to hidden coves and seaside churches. 
    • Make sure to relax on Conero’s prolific beaches and take in the lovely, cobbled lanes in the historic towns of the promontory. 
  • Admire the Santa Casa di Loreto – long believed to be Mary’s Nazareth home miraculously flown here by angels and enshrined since the 14th century within Bramante’s marble casing, under the soaring dome of the basilica. 
  • Cycle Grottammare’s palm-lined promenade and climb to its medieval borgo for sunset panoramas. 
  • Meander Ascoli Piceno’s travertine piazza and sample fritto misto all’ascolana at a historic café. 
  • Watch Offida’s bobbin-lace artisans at work, then try your hand at lacemaking in a local workshop.   
  • Trek the Sibillini trails on a journey through fragrant wildflower meadows and unwind at a mountain-top agriturismo.
